The Department of Energy (DOE) is soliciting comments on how to implement the tribal energy loan guarantee program that was authorized by the Energy Policy Act of 2005. According to DOE, this program is intended to increase the capacity of the commercial lending market for tribal energy development activities.
DOE will be accepting comments until April 30, 2018. Comments can be submitted to telgp@hq.doe.gov. The Dear Tribal Leader Letter and related attachment is available: here
