Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council’s (RMTLC) Health Conference is scheduled to take place, August 17-19, 2021. We are facing life with changing times, and together making it through because we are resilient and strong in our culture. This year’s conference will address and highlight efforts surrounding all areas of health. Agenda highlights include: Behavioral Health; Chronic Disease Prevention: Current Health Data Disparities; Indigenous Research Ethics; Public Health Infrastructure; Indigenous Evaluation; Data Sovereignty; Opioids 101 and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Literacy; a Grief, Coping, and Healing Panel; a Healing Ceremony for Murdered and Missing Indigenous (MMIW) and lost loved ones, and much more.

RMTLC is a tribal organization located in Billings, Montana that serves American Indian communities across Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Our mission is to preserve our homelands, defend rights of the Indian Treaties with the United States, speak in a unified voice, offer support to our people, offer a forum in which to consult each other and enlighten each other about our peoples, and to otherwise promote the common welfare of all of the Indian Peoples of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. RMTLC’s vision is to assist tribal nations in promoting healthy, strong, and prosperous tribal communities for our tribal people living in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.
RMTLC will adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines. PPE will be provided to participants.
